Disposal
The menstrual cup: In many cities, if you bin your old cup, it’ll be burned to create energy. If you’d rather not throw your cup in the bin, you can also burn it yourself in a controlled environment. Silicone is basically sand (quartz) and will only produce a tiny bit of CO2 due to the small quantity of silicone used in each cup.

The cotton bag: You can drop off your cotton bag at your local recycling facility along with other textiles. In many cities, if you bin your cotton bag, it’ll be burned to create energy.

The packaging: All our packaging is made from recycled and/or recyclable paper and cardboard.  Please make sure to dispose of the packaging in the appropriate bin, according to your local recycling regulations.

How do I clean it in public bathrooms?
You can bring bottled water with you or use a sanitising wipe. If you don’t have either, just use toilet paper and rinse when you’re back home.

Won’t it leak?
No. When inserted correctly, the cup shouldn’t leak if it’s not completely full (and presuming you have the right size). Learn more.

How long does it last?
The material of the cup is tested to last for years. We recommend that you replace it if the material starts getting sticky or cracks. Learn more.

Is it safe and hygienic?
Yes, the cup is made from 100% medical grade silicone, which is a material that has been tested for bio compatibility and is safe to wear inside the body. It doesn’t contain BPA or latex. Our menstrual cup is also AllergyCertified and registered with The Vegan Society. Learn more

5 YEARS and keep counting

It was 2018 when I finally decided to change from pads to organic cup and I am so grateful. Pads were always so uncomfortable to me and tampons a huge no.

For the new users, try it first in your non period days so your body adapts. When you are at your first periods (with organic cup) wear it with a pad if you want to feel more secure, until you learn more about your flow. For me the first 2 days of my period I have to rinse it every 2-3 hours and after 3rd day I truly forget that I am wearing it.

*Huge plus that I can go to the beach regardless my flow.

The best menstrual cup I had

All maters menstrual cup is the best I've used!
My previous cup was leaking so badly despite the fact it was for women that haven't given birth as well.
With this cup I felt the freedom that everyone link to menstrual cups.
Also, the delivery was very fast, which I greatly appreciate 🙌

Not heavy flow friendly

Grate over all product but doesn’t contain enough blood for me. It’s full after an hour in my big menstrual day.

No silly questions

We usually suggest bringing some bottled water with you or using a disinfecting wipe such as an OrganiWipe in a public bathroom. If you don’t have either, you can simply wipe it clean with toilet paper and clean it once you have access to a sink, at home for instance. But because it holds more than 3 super tampons, most people only have to empty it in the morning and in the evening, in the comfort of their own home.

When inserted correctly, the cup shouldn't leak if it’s not completely full (and presuming you have the right size). The key to a leak free period is to make sure the suction seal is created and that the cup is completely unfolded inside you. After inserting, you should pinch the bottom of the cup (or insert your index finger alongside the cup) and slighlty rotate it until it unfolds without any dents around and until it doesn't move downwards when pulling the stem. This is how you know the suction seal is in place. For more tips & tricks check out our guide 'How to Use a Menstrual Cup' here.

The material of the cup is tested to last for years. The majority of our customers choose to replace it after 2-3 years, but if there's no visible damage to it you can keep using it. We recommend that you replace it if the material starts getting sticky or cracks. Learn more.
